LOSEY, SPARKS, WOOLAM, KINZER, KOEBER

MRS. PAULINE LOSEY

Funeral for Mrs. Pauline Losey, 65, who died Wednesday, August 28, in Laughlin hospital, Kirksville, Mo., were held at the Keosauqua Christian church at 2:00 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Daniel Mast officiating. Burial was in Fellows cemetery. A memorial to Mrs. Losey has been established at Pedrick funeral home, where she was employed as hostess.

She was born January 7, 1909, near Cantril, the daughter of John C. and Isabelle Sparks Woolam. She married Clyde Losey March 26, 1930 at Cantril; he died in 1969.

Mrs. Losey was a member of the Christian Women's Organization. She was treasurer of the Business and Professional Women's Club and was also a member of the Izaak Walton League and Busy Bee and Garden clubs. She was widely known as a baker of decorated cakes for special occasions.

Surviving are two son, Elwood Losey, Mason City, and Marvin Losey, Virginia, Ill.; daughter, Mrs. Lois Kinzer, Monmouth, Ill.; two brothers, John Wollam, Reseda, Calif., and Eugene Wollam, Kahoka, Mo.; sister, Mrs. Geraldine Koeber, Fort Madison; and nine grandchildren.
