VERNE E. HOSETT(E)

Verne E. Hosett(e), 73, retired Stockport farmer, died at 8:20 p.m. Sunday, in Ottumwa hospital following an extended illness.

He was born October 1, 1900, in Jefferson county, the son of Charles and Mary Droz Hosett. He married Mildred Morrison June 1, 1938.

Surviving are the wife; three sisters, Mrs. Louis Workman, Stockport, Mrs. Bertha Stevens, Argyle, and Mrs. Josephine Hosett, Arlington, Va.; and one brother, Rollin, New York City.

Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. at the Burch Funeral Home. Rev. Chester Werft officiating. Burial was in Winchester Cemetery southeast of Birmingham.
