Mrs. Ada Kehl, 82, Dies at Sharon

Mrs. Ada Kehl, 82, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Grace Snider, Sharon, after a three weeks illness.

Daughter of Horton G. and Martha Slaughter Kelley, she was born near Farmington August 14, 1869. Her first husband, Charles L. Fostre, to whom she was married on May 20, 1891, died March 11, 1894. She married Henry Kehl on April 6, 1897, who died in 1918.

Survivors

Survivors include one daugher from her first marriage, Grace, Farmington, and one daugher from her second marriage, Marie Lemmon, Fort Madison. There are also four grandchildren and one great grandchild. One daughter, Florence died in infancy.

Funeral services will be conducted at Sharon Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member, June 10, at 2:30 p.m. Dr. W. L. Turney of the Union Presbyterian Church, Fort Madison and the Rev. E,D, Byrd of Sharon will officiate. Interment will be in the Sharon Cemetery.

Note: Sent to me about 30 years ago by Marie Lemon daughter of Mrs. Ada Kehl. Mrs. Lemon wrote at the bottom in her hand: "Spelling should be Foster above"
