MRS. WILLIAM RUNYON

Mrs. Laura A. Runyon, 88, of Stockport died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 1973 at 11:10 P.M. at Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua. She had been in failing health three years.

She was born Dec. 10, 1884 near Stockport to William and Anna Bailey Watson. On Jan. 1, 1907 she married William F. Runyon. He died in 1955. She was a member of the Big Cedar Christian Church.

Surviving are one son, Leslie Runyon of Keosauqua, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. George Giberson of Stockport, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She also was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

The service was Saturday, Oct. 6, 1973 at 2 p.m. at Big Cedar Christian Church north-east of Stockport conducted by the Rev. K. Wayleu Brown. Burial was in Hickory Grove Cemetery northeast of Stockport.
