Clyde B. Richardson

Clyde B. Richardson, 82, of Bonaparte, a retired farmer and former postmaster at Keosauqua, died early Tuesday at his home in Bonaparte. The son of Charles and Cora Bevington Richardson, he was born June 21, 1891 at Oskaloosa.

On Dec. 6, 1911, he was married to Edna Heaton at Tingley. They moved to Keosauqua in 1922 and to Bonaparte in 1966.

He is survived by his widow and one son, Charles of Bonaparte, and two grandsons. He was a member of the Keosauqua Christian Church.

The service will be Thursday, Sept. 27 at 2 p.m. at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with Raymond Lyon, Christian Church Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Fellows cemetery at Keosauqua.

CLYDE B. RICHARDSON

Clyde B. Richardson, son of Charles and Cora Bevington Richardson, was born June 21, 1891, at Oskaloosa and departed this life Tuesday, September 25, 1973, at his home in Bonaparte at the age of 82.

On December 6, 1911, he was married to Edna Heaton at Tingley, Iowa. They moved to Keosauqua in 1922, where Mr. Richardson serves as Postmaster for a number of years. They later farmed north of Keosauqua and retired to their present home in Bonaparte in 1966.

He was a member of the Keosauqua Christian Church.

Remaining to cherish his memory are Mrs. Richardson, their son Charles and daughter-in-law Janet of Bonaparte, grandson and granddaughter-in-law Marvin and Susan of Bentonsport and grandson Jim of Bonaparte, other relatives and many friends.

He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather, a good neighbor and a true friend.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 27, 1973 at 2 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with Raymond Lyon, pastor of Keosauqua Christian Church officiating. Interment was in Fellows Cemetery at Keosauqua.
