William A. Nelson

William A. Nelson, 64, of Farmington died Wednesday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at his home in Farmington. He had been ill for two years.

He was born August 23, 1908 in Keokuk, the son of Andrew and Hannah Moline Nelson. On June 9, 1935 at Malico, Minn. he was married to Edith Peterson, who survives.

He was owner of Nelson's Superior Animal Lures and had been a resident of Farmington most of his life. He was a member of the National Trappers Association and had worked for the U.S. Forestry Service for nine years.

He is survived by his wife Edith and was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10 at the Farmington Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Eddie West officiated. Burial was in the Croton cemetery. Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home had charge of the service.
