Mrs. Ralph Barker

KEOSAUQUA - Mrs. Alice Barker, 60, died today at 1 a.m. at Memorial Hospital, where she had been four weeks. She had been in failing health 3 1/2 years.

She was born July 4, 1912 near Eldon, to Warren and Gracie Allen Fraizer. She married Ralph Barker in 1935 at Birmingham.

She worked at the Van Buren Telephone Co. and was a receptionist for Dr. F.D. Boyle in Keosauqua. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Lyle Allen and Danny Lee at home; one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Dick of Fort Madison; two grandchildren, four brothers, Hugh Fraizer of Des Moines; Herbert Frazier of Corydon; Wayne and Donovan Fraizer of Roseville, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Helen Hutton of Battle Creek, Mich.

The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, with the Rev. James M. Ford officiating. Burial will be in Fellows Cemetery. The body is at the Catcott Funeral Home.

A memorial has been established payable to the muscular dystrophy foundation.
