CLEM WESLEY KERR

Clem Wesley Kerr, 46 was killed in an automobile accident in California July 28. He was born in Detroit, Mich., but lived in Van Buren County from babyhood to manhood.

He graduated from Cantril High School in 1943 and went to college at Mt. Pleasant for one year. he served in the air force 2 years. Then he went to California where he met his wife, Dixie. They were married in 1948 and have 2 boys and 2 girls ranging in age from 9 to 13 years. Other survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kerr of Pleasanton, Calif., a sister, Mrs. of Pleasanton, Calif., a sister, Mrs. ton, and a brother, George of San Pable, Calif. and his grand mother Mrs. Ida Kerr of Cantril.

An autopsy showed Mr. Kerr had suffered a cerebral hemorrage(sp) causing the accident.
