KIME, NOYES, HOWARD, HANSON, VAN WINKLE, JOY

Mrs. Irene Kime

Mrs. Irene Kime, 77, of Keosauqua died at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 19 at her home in Keosauqua. She had been in failing health.

She was born Sept. 28, 1894 at Webster City, the daughter of Calvin and Lillian Noyes Howard. She was married to Jack Hanson, who preceded her in death. She married Perry Kime April 6, 1937 at Marshalltown. They moved to Keosauqua in 1959.

She is survived by her widower; two daughters, Mrs. Mariel Van Winkle of Port Angeles, Wash. and Mrs. Althea Joy of Portland, Ore.; a brother, Leon Howard of Mason City; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

The funeral was held in the Catcott Funeral Home Saturday, July 22, with the Rev. Millard Marsahll in charge. Burial was in Purdom Cemetery.
