DOUDS - Mrs. Katie Cramlet, 96, widow of Frank C. Cramlet, died at 10 p.m., Saturday at her home three miles north of Douds. She had been in her usual good health until the last month.

Funeral services were held today at 4 p.m., at the Mount Moriah Church, north of Douds, with the Rev. Harold Harryman and the Rev. Donald Strauch in charge. Interment was in the Mount Moriah Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of the Pedrick Funeral Home where memorial contributions may be left for the maintenance of the Mount Moriah Church.

Mrs. Cramlet was born March 6, 1878 near Libertyville, the daughter of Absolem and Margaret Birch Williams. She was married to Frank C. Cramlet on March 2, 1898. In 1903 they moved to the farm home where she died. Cramlet died in 1941.

A son, Leland and three brothers also preceded her in death.

Surviving are a son, Ross C. Cramlet of Des Moines and a granddaughter and two grandsons.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Douds, the Birthday Club and the Douds Community Ladies Aid.
