Addie Pearl Kutcher

Mrs. Addie Pearl Kutcher, 91, of Mt. Pleasant, former Pittsburg resident, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 31 in the Henry County Memorial Hospital at Mt. Pleasant.

She was born Aug. 22, 1880 at Pittsburg, the daughter of William Alexander and Delilah Hellyer Kerr. She married Jacob Charles Kutcher April 19, 1899 and they lived on a farm north of Pittsburg for 52 years. Her husband died May 7, 1953. She was also preceded in death by a son LaMonte, and a daughter, Esther.

She was a lifetime member of the Pittsburg Methodist Church and had lived at Mt. Pleasant the past seven years. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Russell Sponberg of Mount Pleasant; one grandson, Lee Kutcher of Keosauqua; two granddaughters; nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held Tuesday at the Catcott Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Re. James M. Ford officiating. Burial was in the Pittsburg Cemetery.
