Leo C. Johnson

Leo C. Johnson, 76, of Stockport, died at his home Saturday evening, Oct. 30.

A native of Missouri, Mr. Johnson was born Feb. 16, 1895, in Scotland county, the son of James David and Ella Campbell Johnson.

He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of Elvin C. Cecil American Legion post.

Mr. Johnson married Zola Brown on Feb. 16, 1935.

Surviving are two brothers and five sisters: Robert Johnson of Stockport, Lloyd Johnson and Mrs. Irene Brown, both of Birmingham, Mrs. Grace Lyon of Eldon, Mrs. Imogene Heaton of Donnellson, Mrs. Alma Rosandes of Galva, Ill. and Mrs. Naomi Brown of Beaulieu, Minn.

The funeral service was held at the Stockport Christian church at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3 with the Rev. Chester C. Werft officiating. Burial was in Spencer cemetery with military rites at the graveside.
