Mrs. Otto Walton

Mrs. Otto D. Walton, 78, of Washington, Ia. died Tuesday, Sept. (22) at 8:30 a.m. in the Long Term Care Center of the Washington County Hospital, Washington, ia. She had been ill four months, seriously the past month.

The former Mary Violet Fetters, she was born Jan. 27, 1893 in Washington county, the daughter of George and Della Keefer Fetters.

She married Otto Darrel Walton on Feb. 26, 1919 at Washington.

She has been a resident of Washington the past seven years and formerly lived on a farm in Washington county. They lived in Jefferson county from 1931 until 1942.

Mrs. Walton was a member of the Presbyterian church in Washington.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Martin (Wilma) Owens of Dayton, Ohio; a son, Donald D. of Farmingt0n; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Simpson and Mrs. Walter Anderson, both of Washington; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

The funeral service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Friends church at Pleasant Plain, Iowa. Burial will be in the Friends cemetery there. The body is at the Jones Funeral Home in Washington
