Mrs. Raymond Hannah

Funeral services for Mrs. Raymond (Bessie A.) Hannah, 80, who entered into rest at the home of her niece, Mrs. Bennie Huff, R.R. Bonaparte, on Thursday morning, July 8th, were held from the Beatty-Jennings Funeral Chapel in Mt. Pleasant on Saturday, July 10, 1971 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kenneth Hardin officiating.

Music was provided by Mrs. Tony Ross, organist and James Downs, soloist.

Casket escorts were Lyman Almond, Linus Rauenbuehler, Alvin Sperfslage, Robert Frary, William Rich, and Emile Englehart.

Interment was in Forest Home Cemetery.

Mrs. Hannah was born April 1, 1891, in Van Buren County the daughter of Levi and Jereta Miller Downs.

She attended Howes Academy and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant.

She was married to Raymond Hannah at Mt. Pleasant, April 6, 1911. He preceded her in death May 14, 1966.

She is survived by a sister-in-law Mrs. Anna Hunting, and many nieces and nephews.
