Irmadean “Dee" A. (Foehring) Meirose, 86, of Ft. Madison, IA, passed away on December 27, 2017, at Ft. Madison Community Hospital. She was born on April 16, 1931, in Mt. Pleasant, IA, to Chester and Anna Mae Volger Cazey. She married Allan D. Meirose on July 27, 1974, in Ft. Madison, IA. She worked at Sheaffer Pen, Jimbo's Super Value and lastly at Iowa State Liquor Store, retiring in 1990. She enjoyed Facebook, keeping up with her friends on her computer and hearing about her grandchildren.

Dee is survived by her husband Allan Meirose of Ft. Madison; one son, Michael P. (Jeanne) Foehring of Braddyville, IA; one daughter, Patricia (Jim) Foehring Brady of Neligh, NE; two stepdaughters, Roxanne (Tom) Payne of Hallsville, MO, and Nancy (Wayne) Royer of Macomb, IL; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one sister, Betty Kirkhart of Cantril, IA, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, W. Paul Foehring, two grandchildren, one sister, and one niece.

Cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018, with the memorial service to immediately follow at 2:00 p.m., all at King-Lynk Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
