Ansteine

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Jay Funeral Home in Ottumwa for A.C. Ansteine, 80, 101 Hill Ave., Ottumwa, who died at 10:50 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa.

Burial will be in the Ottumwa Cemetery.

He was born near Knoxville, Ill. on Feb. 10, 1892 to George and Lucy Morey Ansteine. He had lived in Wapello County for the last 46 years. Prior to that he had farmed in Davis County. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.

On Dec. 25, 1913, he married Edith Brumley in Pulaski. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Moneta Chalfont of San Antonio, Tex., and Mrs. Nell Shull of Frankfort, Ind.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
