Gladys Allen

Gladys Allen, 78, died at 1:10 am Fri. in Ottumwa Manor.

She was born in Scotland Co., Missouri on Aug. 4, 1904 to Peter C. & Frankie Talbot Snyder. She was a retired painter and wallpaper hanger. She was a resident of Pulaski most of her life and was a member of the Pulaski United M.E. Church.

She married Burnie Allen on Oct. 4, 1926

He died in 1975.

Survivors include a daughter, Laura Walker of Ottumwa; a son Charles of Ottumwa; brothers Ray and Earl Snyder of Bloomfield; 6 grand-children and 10 great-grandchild-ren.

Services were held Saturday morning at Wagler's Funeral Home. Burial in the Pulaski Cemetery.
