Allen Services At 2:00 Saturday

Joe B. Allen, 85, died at the Blummer Nursing Home in Pulaski at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday after a long illness.

Born in Davis county on October 22, 1873, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Allen. He was married in 1899 to Annie Bickel who survives. They had made their home in Pulaski for 57 years.

Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Heither of Pulaski, Mrs. Charles Ivins of Burlington, and Mrs. Lulu Gonterman of Bettendorf, and two sons, Bernie Allen of Jerico Springs, Mo., and Lewis Allen of Milton.

Services will be conducted at the Wagler Funeral Home Saturday afternoon at 2:oo by Senior Major W.L. Lee of the Salvation Army. Burial will be in the Pulaski cemetery.
