Fern McGregor

ELDON - E. Fern McGregor, 72, died at 3:45 p.m. Feb. 1, 1984, in Ottumwa Hospital.

She was born Jan. 1, 1912, in Chequest to Daniel and Lucinda Ritz Pottorff. She lived in Eldon most of her life where she attended the Congregational Church. She married Henry McGregor on Aug. 31, 1933, in Memphis, Mo. He died Nov. 29, 1976.

She is survived by a daughter, Rose Morrison of Keosauqua; four grandsons, Randall, Henry, Daniel and David Umpress; and five great-grandsons.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon, the Rev. David Albert officiating. Burial will be in the Eldon Cemetery.
