Elsie Keller rites Tuesday

Elsie V. Keller, 78, died Friday at 4:15 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient for two weeks. She was a resident of Parkview Care Center.

Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Parker officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be held Monday evening from 7 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Keller was a 40-year resident of Jefferson County. She was born July 22, 1905 in Oakville, Iowa, the daughter of Louis N. and Carrie Fox Charbonneaux. She was married to George Keller July 25, 1923 in Mount Pleasant. He died June 13, 1969.

Mrs. Keller was a member of Suburban Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Carrie Haines, Fairfield, and Betty Wix, Shirley, Ark.; and one son, Mark Keller, Fairfield.

Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and the following sisters and brother: Helen Asche, Garner, Iowa; Mary Becker, Utica, Ill.; Edna Fuller, Ottawa, Ill.; and George Charbonneaux, Utica, Ill. one son, five brothers and two sisters are deceased.
