Mrs. Deborah Huston, whose home has been near Mt. Sterling for over 40 years, died at the home of her only daughter, Mrs. J. O. Boyer near Leando, Thursday, Oct. 21. Mrs. Huston came upon a visit, as was her custom in years past, and intended spending the winter there, but was taken sick and died after a short illness.

Mrs. Deborah Wollam Hustou [sic] was a native of Ohio, but came to this state in 1864. She was the mother of six sons and one daughter. Her husband died Sept. 1, 1894. Wooster, her oldest son, lives on the old home place; Edward died in infancy; Jacob lives near Mt. Sterling; Henry was killed by a horse kicking him on his farm near Bonaparte some 12 years ago; Harmer lives in Sparks, Nev., Sparrh [sic] in Scotland county, Mo., and Mrs. Ruth Boyer, the only daughter and youngest of the family, whose privilege it was to minister to the wants of her mother in her last days. Besides the immediate family she leaves 15 grand children and 8 great grand children.
