Mrs. Hazel McNeeley

FAIRFIELD - Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel McNeeley, 92, Libertyville, Iowa, were at 1:30 a.m. today at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield. The Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiated. Burial in the Oakland Mills cemetery near Fairfield.

Mrs. McNelley (err) died Friday, March 23, at a hospital in Moline, Ill. She was the mother of Donald McNeeley of Fort Madison.

She was born at Osceola, Aug. 30, 1886, and had spent most of her life in the Douds and Libertyville communities.

On Dec. 25, 1906, she was married to George Allen McNeeley. He preceded her in death Nov. 23, 1965.

She was a member of the Faith United Methodist church at Libertyville.

Surviving are two other sons, Harold of Libertyville, and Howard of Yankeetown, Fla.; four daughters, Mrs. Lillian Phipps, Hemet, Calif., Mrs. Dorothy Pierce, Moline, Mrs. Ellen Andrist, Chicago, and Mrs. Betty Micetic, Worth, Ill.; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband she was preceded in death by three sons, a brother and a sister. Her parents were Albert and Laura Davis Hobbs.
