Anna L. Marsh

FARMINGTON - Mrs. Anna L. Marsh, 77, of Farmington, died at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, in the Ottumwa Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born Nov. 12, 1902, at New Boston. She had been a resident of Farmington for 59 years.

On Nov. 25, 1921, she was married to Clarence W. Marsh, who preceded her in death.

She was a member of the United Methodist church, the United Methodist Women, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Farmingotn Cemetery Association and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Surviving are a son, William of Farmington; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Rider, Farmington, and Mrs. John (Bertha) McIntosh, Keosauqua; a brother, Oscar Sunden, Fort Madison; three sisters, Mrs. Stella Pezley and Mrs. Lillie O'Blenness, both of Keokuk, and Mrs. Hilma Allen, Kahoka, Mo.; and seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, a sister and a grandchild. Her parents were William and Laura Schaeffer Sunden.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the United Methodist church. The Rev. Scott Holmes will officiate. Burial will be in the Farmington cemetery.

The body is at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington where visitation will be from 7 to 8 Thursday evening.
