ERNEST JESBERG

Ernest S. Jesberg, 76, Farmington, died Saturday, March 6 at 2:15 a.m. at the Graham hospital, Keokuk, after a short illness.

He was born Feb. 1, 1889, in Lee county, the son of Rudolph and Barbara Becker Jesburg. Jan. 26, 1910, he married Cora Alice Courtney at Keokuk. He was a farmer and lived in the Sharon community all his life. He was a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodge.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. K.C. Moore of Farmington and Mrs. Leo Schiller of Donnellson; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Hawk and Mrs. Ed Heise, both of Farmington; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His wife, parents a son and two grandchildren are dead.

Services were held Monday, March 8 at 1:30 p.m. at the Sharon Presbyterian church with the Rev. Ernest Gutha officiating. Burial was in the Sharon cemetery.
