Mrs. Mada Lewis

Mrs. Mada Lenora Lewis, 65, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, at her home at 415 N. Sheridan Rd., Waukegan, Ill.

Mrs. Lewis was stricken on the eve of her departure for Burlingotn, where she was to be the house guest of Harriett DeJaifre, 1111 N. Fifth St.

A former resident of Burlington, she was a long-time employe of the former Grossman department store.

Mrs. Lewis was born Jan. 12, 1904, at Stockport, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Alvey. She was married to Earl Lewis, who was killed in a traffic accident in 1955; after his death she settled in Waukegan, where she was employed by Abbott Laboratories until last Jan. 1, when she retired.

Surviving: Daughters, Mrs. Barbara Moran and Mrs. Norma Ambrogio, both of Waukegan.
