Funeral for Mrs. Justin North, 66, who died Sunday, July 25 at Washington County Hospital, was held at 1 a.m. Wednesday, July 28 at Jones Funeral Home, Washington, Iowa. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.

The former Bessie Pauline Birka was born July 23, 1899, in Washington. She was married to Justin North in Riverside on April 21, 1919.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Agatha Mendelson of Arlington, Va.; a son, Buddy of Bonaparte, Iowa; two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Josephine North of Brighton.
