MAURICE J. WEISHAAR

Maurice J. Weishaar, 76, of Donnellson rural route 2, died Friday, June 30, at 1:30 p.m. in St. Joseph Hospital, Keokuk. He had been ill one month.

Born March 29, 1891 in Lee County, three-fourths of a mile west of Primrose, he was a farmer and had never married. His parents were George and Mary Miller Weishaar.

He was a member of the St. Boniface Catholic church in Farmington.

Surviving are a nephew, Denis O'Brien of Fort Madison; three nieces, Mrs. Genevieve Goodman of Farmington, Mrs. Colleen Breitenbucher of Keokuk, and Mrs. Loretta Hartrick of Bettendorf.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, John and twin brother Cletus and a sister, Georgia O'Brien.

The funeral service was held Monday, July 3 at 9 a.m. in St. Boniface Catholic church, Farmington, with the Rev. Anthony Geerts officiating. Burial was in Calvary cemetery, West Point.

The Rosary was recited Sunday at 8 p.m. in Miller's Home For Funerals, Farmington.
