MRS. NELLIE TROUT
Mrs. Nellie Sadler Trout, 77, Douds, died Thursday, Sept. 8 at Memorial hospital, Keosauqua. She was a patient in the Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield before entering the hospital.
She was born Aug. 30, 1889, near Douds, daughter of Martin Luther and Addied Lewis Sadler. She was married in Fairfield Sept. 20, 1922 to Lewis Ray Trout.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Cmdr. Roscoe Trout, U.S. Navy, Portsmouth, R.I., and Clarence Trout of Douds; two daughters, Mrs. Merle Helgeland, Bartlesville, Okla., and Mrs. Miriam Thompson, Loveland, Colo.; three brothers, Blaine Sadler, Red Oak; Martin Sadler, Council Bluffs, and Herbert Sadler, Troutdale, Ore. She also leaves eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one infant daughter, one brother and two sisters.
Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Pedrick Funeral Home in charge of Rev. David Birdsall. Burial was in Mt. Moriah cemetery.
