Mrs. Pauline Overton

DONNELLSON - Mrs. Pauline Overton, 49, of West Point, rural route, died Saturday at 3:35 a.m. in Sacred Heart hospital in Fort Madison after a long illness. She had been seriously ill since September.

The former Pauline Ellis was born November 9, 1919, at Marceline, Mo. She was married to Forrest Overton on February 24, 1941, at Fort Madison. He survives.

She spent her entire life in the Clay Grove community and was a member of the Pentecostal Assembly of God church at Fort Madison, and also was a member of the Women's Missionary society of the church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her mother, Mrs. Violet Riddle Young of Fort Madison, two daughters, Mrs. Glenn Emenecker of Wausaw, Wis., Miss Renee Overton, Fort Madison, three sisters, Mrs. George Taylor, Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Arnold Wolfskill, Denver, Colo., Mrs. Evelyn McKeown, Fort Madison.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rudolph Ellis, one brother and an infant daughter.

The funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Pentecostal church in Fort Madison with the Rev. Wayne R. Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in the Clay Grove cemetery.
