Lloyd Workman

Lloyd W. (Ike) Workman, 63-year-old retired Stockport businessman, died in University Hospitals, Iowa City, at 3 A.M., Saturday, May 4, after an illness of several years' duration.

A native Iowan, Mr. Workman was born June 3, 1904, at Ware, the son of E.G. and Ada Newman Workman. He was married to Maymie Brickey on Nov. 28, 1931.

Mr. Workman was a 1924 graduate of Stockport high school. He was a member of the Masonic lodge and the Stockport Methodist church. He had lived in Stockport since 1917.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Heisel, Cantril; his mother, Mrs. Ada Workman of Stockport; a brother, Lester Workman of Stockport, and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Monday, at the Stockport Methodist church. The Rev. Ora Reep, assisted by the Rev. Chester C. Werft, officiated.

Burial was in Spencer cemetery near Stockport where Masonic rites were held conducted by members of Workman Lodge No. 634 of Stockport.
