On August 12, 2017, family and friends gathered together in Bentonsport at the Church Retreat for a celebration of life for Jerry Bell, who passed away October 24, 2016. Many friends dropped by to share a memory or two. The family appreciates all who stopped by, it meant a lot to them.

Jerry Bell was born August 17, 1937, in Bonaparte, the son of Bob and Norma Bell. He married Virginia Anderson in 1956. They had three children, John (Cindy) Bell, Judy (Doug) Durbin and Jill (Jay) Pearson; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; sister, Arlene (Dennis) Berry, and nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, Larry Bell, and Garry (Skip) (Patt) Bell. Jerry served his country proudly for 20 years in the navy.
