Mrs. Martin Kunzman

Mrs. Opal Esther Kunzman, daughter of Charley and Arvilla Goodwin Ollom, was born Aug. 23, 1905 at Fremont and departed this life Thursday, March 13, 1969, at the Holden Nursing Home in Keosauqua, at the age of 63.

On Aug. 27, 1951, she was married to Martin Kunzman. They made their home on their farm south of Selma.

Remaining to mourn her passing are her husband; her mother, Mrs. Arvilla Legg of Ottumwa; five sisters, Mrs. Cecil Johnson of Ottumwa, Mrs. Fern Fowler of Sherwood, Ore., Mrs. Pansy Lundgren of Madison, Wisc., Mrs. Ada Sleethe of Kirkville, and Mrs. Erma Cole of Eldon; a brother, Delbert Ollom of Wright; 13 nieces and nephews; a number of great nieces and nephews; other relatives.

Her father, an infant brother, and a nephew, Kinney Fowler, preceded her in death.

Opal will be remembered for her friendliness and kindness toward all with whom she came in contact.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 15, 1969, at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Eugene Schmidt, pastor of Zion Bible Church officiating. Vocalists were Mrs. Keith A. Smith and Mrs. Robert Pedrick, accompanied by Mrs. Max Caves. Pall bearers were John Baird, Sherman Miller, Joe Michaeal, Charles Moore, Richard Kunzman and Bruce Laubach. Interment was in the Eldon Cemetery.
