Jesse Jemison

Jesse Jemison died Thursday May 26 in Van Buren county Memorial hospital. He was born Aug. 12, 1898, in Van Buren county, the son of Warren J. and Laura E. Knowles Jemison. He was a member of the Mt. Sterling Methodist church.

Surviving are two brothers, L.F. of Ottumwa and R.M. of Oskaloosa; a sister, Mrs. Wilda Syfert of Kansas City; a nephew and a niece.

Funeral services for Jesse Lynn Jemison, 67, Mt. Sterling, were held Saturday, May 28 at 2 p.m. at the Catcott funeral home, Keosauqua with Rev. Herbert Phillips in charge. Burial in Pittsburg cemetery.
