RECEIVES WORD OF GLASSFORD DEATH

Birmingham relatives and friends have received word of the death of Mrs. Ralph Glassford, 63, of Keokuk. Mrs. Glassford died Friday, Nov. 22, at Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield after a lengthy illness.

She was the former Grace Bailey, a daughter of the late Charles Bailey. Her mother, Mrs. Mary Hendricks Bailey lives in Argyle.

She spent her early years in Birmingham and was graduated from Birmingham High School and spent several years as an elementary teacher.

Survivors include her husband; mother; a daughter, Norma; a brother and five sisters.

Services were held on Monday, Nov. 25 at Schmidt Funeral Home in Keokuk with interment in National Cemetery.
