Rollo Franklin

Rollo Franklin, 64, rural Bonaparte, died early Friday morning, Feb. 2, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua, where he had been a patient since Wednesday.

Franklin, a bachelor, made his home on a farm west of Bonaparte with a brother, Emery Franklin. He was born on a farm west of April 23, 1903, the son of Grant and Rachael Bonnett Franklin.

he is survived by three brothers, Robert of Keosauqua, Emery of rural Bonaparte, William of California; a sister, Icle Wheaton of California.

Funeral services were held Monday in the Catcott funeral Home, Keosauqua. the Rev. Aldreth V. Weigel, officiated with burial in the Brethren Cemetery near Libertyville.
