CLARENCE H. FETT

Clarence H. Fett, 72, of rural Farmington, died in his home Saturday, Aug. 26 at 9:45 a.m. He had been in failing health for a year, but his death was sudden.

The son of the late Henry and Clara Belle Horsey Fett, he was born Oct. 16, 1894, near Luray, Mo., coming to Iowa when he was four years old. he spent most of his adult life on a farm east of Croton.

On February 15, 1923, at Keokuk he married Cora Meinhardt, who survives, as does also one sister, Mrs. Clara Deines of Canton, Mo.

Funeral services were held in Millers' Home for Funerals at Donnellson Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Victor Engelmann officiating.

Mrs. Dale Meinhardt sang "Ivory Palaces" accompanied by Mrs. Robert Yoder.

Interment was in the Embury cemetery, the following serving as bearers: Harold Lightfoot, Dale Meinhardt, Leroy Ekle, Lloyd Meinhardt, Emil Ball and Herbert Meinhardt.
