John C. Campbell

Mr. John C. Campbell, 85, of 217 Park Street, Fort Collins, Colo., died Feb. 5, 1969 at a local nursing home following a prolonged illness.

He was born in Birmingham, Iowa, May 9, 1883, and had farmed in Iowa until his retirement in 1947. He moved to Fort Collins in 1948.

He married Virginia Droz, April 20, 1909 at Fairfield, Iowa. She died March 15, 1965.

Mr. Campbell was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Surviving are two sons, Richard Campbell of Redwood City, Calif., and Ronald Campbell of Casper, Wyoming; one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Bender of Davenport, Iowa; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The rosary was held Thursday, Feb. 6, 1969 in the Warren Funeral Chapel. Mass Friday, 9:30 A.M. took place at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Collins, Colo. Interment 11:30 A.M. Bethel Cemetery, Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Mr. Campbell was a resident of Birmingham, Iowa, for 62 years.
