Jesse Clyde Brown

Iowa relatives have received word of the death, on Oct. 31, 1963, of Jesse Clyde Brown, 84, of Eureka, California. The son of Jordan and Mary Jane Bennett Brown, he was born near Hillsboro, Sept. 20, 1879 and lived in that area several years.

He was married to Vernah May Hollowell of Missouri, who preceded him in death.

Survivors are Mrs. Juanita Hopkins, Woodside, Calif.; Mrs. Lorraine Muscianese of San Francisco; Mrs. Patricia Harrison of Eureka; Mrs. Barbara Licary of Sunnyvale; Rollyn Brown of Palo Alto; several grandchildren. He is a brother of Mrs. Dora Brown Sellwood of Hillsboro.

Mr. Brown had been a painter in Eureka for over 35 years prior to his retirement.

Services were held at Sanders Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 2, with Rev. James M. Brown officiating. Interment was at Ocean View Cemetery.
