DR. J.H. WILSON

Dr. J.H. Wilson, one of Keokuk's most widely known physicians, was fatally injured by a gunshot wound from a rifle while he was taking the gun from a car preparatory to going hunting on his farm southeast of Farmington on Sept. 25.

He graduated from Keokuk Medical college in 1907 and began his practice at Farmington. He was born near Athens, Mo., August 10, 1884. His wife, formerly Irene Willits, was killed in a motor accident near Baudette, Minn., in 1936.

Surviving are one son, John, at home in Keokuk; and two daughters, Mrs. Helen Porter of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Edith Wilson of Keokuk. There are also five brothers, I.J. Wilson, Frank Wilson and Everett Wilson of Farmington, Albert Wilson of Burlington, and Harold K. Wilson of St. Paul, Minn., and a sister, Mrs. Frances Wilson of Baudette, Minn.
