Mrs. Rozetta Brownlee Davis, 89, died at 10:15 p.m. Aug. 3, at the home of her niece, Mrs. Edith Ross, at Keosauqua. She had lived at the Ross home for the last two years.A native of Delevan, Ill., Mrs. Davis was born on Christmas day, 1861, and moved with her parents to Keosauqua in 1892. On Aug. 21, 1901, she was married to Albert Davis, and they settled at Stockport, where they were living at the time of Davis' death, which took place on Dec. 29, 1948. Thirteen nieces and nephews survive.Mrs. Davis was a sister of the late Sam Brownlee of Keosauqua. Last rites will be held at the Burnett-Catcott funeral home at 2 p.m., Sunday. The Rev. John Ballinsky, pastor of the Christian church will officiate, and burial will be in Fellows Cemetery.The Burlington Hawkeye, Saturday, August 4, 1951
