Paul Bonar

Paul Edward Bonar was born April 17, 1884, in a log cabin on the home farm near Milton, and passed away at home, March 23, after a heart attack. He was the son of Barnett and Annie Peacock Bonar. He lived all of his life on the same farm. He was an untiring worker and always had a smile for everyone.

He was a member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church, having served there as an elder.

He is survived by three brothers, Clark of Chicago, Matthew and Hazen at home; a sister, Esther Johnston of Lebanon, Ia. He was also cared for faithfully by his sisters-in-law, Mabel and Amelia. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother and one sister, Mrs. Nellie Hoskins.

Memorial services were held at the Lebanon Methodist Church, Sunday, March 25 at 2 p.m., with Herbert C. Shaw of Cantril in charge. The vocalists were Mrs. Jim Charbonneau and Mrs. Maynard Manske, accompanied by Mrs. H.C. Shaw. Burial in Lebanon Cemetery.
