EDWIN JOHNSON

Elmer Johnson received word Tuesday P.M. of the sudden death of his brother Edwin of Mt. Pleasant at Bloomfield where he and his wife were staying in a convalescent home to be near their son, Lee. Funeral services were held in Mt. Pleasant Friday P.M. at the Weir Cookes Funeral Home with burial in Hillsboro Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson and wife, Edith McCabe Johnson, were Hillsboro residents a number of years. Mrs. Johnson, the only survivor of the car accident that has now claimed the lives of Mrs. Anna McCabe, Mrs. Hazel Hawbaker and Mr. Edwing Johnson, is now in a wheel chair, but unable to help herself very much.
