George Selwood.

HILLSBORO. - George Selwood, 77, died at Memorial hospital at Mt. Pleasant, Wednesday night.

He was born January 10, 1878, in Louisa county, the son of William and Adeline Shelwood. He had lived in Hillsboro several years and had been in poor health several weeks.

Surviving are his wife, Dora; a brother, James of Washington, Mo., and a half brother, Henry Holden of Mt. Pleasant. A sister preceded him in death.

The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Hillsboro Baptist church. The Rev. Roy Herndon, pastor, will be in charge. Burial will be in Hillsboro cemetery. The body is at the Kasper funeral home at Salem.
