Nicole L. “Nicky” Goehring age 75, of Fairfield, passed away February 25, 2017, at Jefferson County Health Center.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville with Pastor Larry Allen officiating. Burial will be at Fell Cemetery.

Nicole L. Goehring was born February 22, 1942, to Raymond F. and Clara I. (Six) Daub. She married Larry K. Goehring on February 25, 1962, at the First Christian Church in Fairfield. Larry passed away July 15, 2011.

Nicky graduated from Fairfield High School class of 1960, she was a life resident of Fairfield. Nicky was a farmer's wife, caregiver, and former employee of Jefferson County Hospital. She was a member of the pork producers, she enjoyed flower gardening, traveling, antiquing, and most enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Nicky is survived by son, Michael (Jeanette) Goehring of Douds, IA; daughter, Kathy (Craig) Eklund of Libertyville, IA; four grandchildren, Dustin (Jessica) Goehring, Sara (Adam) Karnowski, Cody Goehring and Brad (Laura) Goehring; Seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Andy Daub of Oklahoma; two sisters, Jean Letts of Fairfield, IA, and Mary Freyenberger of Wayland, IA.

Nicky was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Clara Daub; her husband, Larry Goehring; son, Larry T. Goehring; and granddaughter, Darby Gilbert.
