Twenty-five years ago the family moved to Milton and have made their home in the same place since.

Mrs. Cecil has suffered much for several years but her last illness was very brief and her sufferings are past.

Years ago she gave her heart and life to Jesus and she has been a devoted followers of her lord. Her Bible was always at hand and read daily. She had read the entire Bible through more than 15 times and was in daily communion with her Lord in prayer. For years she was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and was always in her place, in the services, when her health would permit.

The stricken husband and children have a rich inheritance in her faith in her Lord.

A large company of friends join in sympathy for the bereaved ones.

The funeral was held from the Milton M.E. church on Wednesday afternoon, conducted by her pastor Rev. H.F. Gilbert. Interment in the Milton cemetery.
