Beverly Ann Grogan age, 79, of Salida, CO, passed away on Sunday January 29, 2017, at Columbine Manor Care Center in Salida, CO.

Beverly Ann Baker was born on May 11, 1937, to Robert James Baker and Mary Jane MacIntosh Baker in Hannibal, MO. The family lived in Milton, IA, and she graduated from Fox Valley High School in 1954. On June 30, 1965, she married William Louis Grogan in Des Moines, IA. They later moved to Fairfield, IA, where the couple adopted two children, Jennifer Grogan Lofton (Andy Richards) of Salida, CO, and Jason (Kari) Grogan of Concordia, KS. She moved to Salida, CO, in 1999 after the passing of her husband on December 28, 1998.

Bev was the youngest of nine children and is survived by one brother, Ronald (Alice) Baker of Aurora, CO. She had four godchildren that she loved as her own: Jeffrey (Betty) Nance of Washington, IA, Ronda (Mike) Burke of Fairfield, IA, Amy Nance (Terry Mendiola) Houston, TX, and the late Gregory Nance. She had 11 grandchildren: Christina Grogan, Eric Grogan, Keegan Grogan, all of Concordia, KS, Izaiah Grogan stationed at 29 Palms, CA, Allison Lofton of Hilo, HI, Aspen Lofton of Salida, CO, Hunter Symmons of Ottumwa, IA, Jayden Burke of Fairfield, IA, Brenna (Zuriel) Zambonino of Dallas, TX, Kara (Brett) Hallonquist of Lewisville, TX, Ezekial Faulks of Everette, WA; great-grandchildren, Connor and Lucas Zambonino of Dallas, TX, Brayden, Kylie and Tegan Hallonquist of Lewisville, TX.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, parents and siblings Geneva Clark, Mary Louise Price, Twila Ward, Virginia Roberts, Roberta Baker, Richard Baker and Ralph Baker.

Bev loved life and people loved her. Her fun loving personality and wit made her a favorite to many. She loved sports from high school sports to her Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubbies. A memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held in Fairfield, IA, at later date.

Arrangements are with Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home.
