Linda Vernell Fraise, 52, of Farmington, died at 4:55 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, at her home.

Born April 13, 1951, in Farmington, she was the daughter of Irvin Henry and Edith Louise Martin Roth. On Nov. 28, 1975, she married Alfred James Fraise in Donnellson.

Mrs. Fraise had worked at Gleasons in Fort Madison, the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Mount Pleasant and she sold Avon.

She was a 1969 graduate of Harmony High School and had attended Quincy College.

She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. She was a cemetery trustee for the city of Farmington.

Survivors include her husband; her parents of Farmington; two sons, Heath J. Fraise and Brett J. Fraise, both of Farmington; a sister, Cheryl L. DeMoss of Farmington; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by one infant nephew.

Visitation will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington where the family will receive friends between 6 and 8 p.m. The funeral for Mrs. Fraise will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Farmington with the Rev. Apo Mpanda officiating. Burial will be in the Greenglade Cemetery in Farmington.
