Funeral services for Bert Walker, who died Sunday morning near Mt. Zion were held Tuesday afternoon at the Mt. Moriah Methodist church, east of here, with Rev. Chader in charge. Mr. Walker was a pioneer of this vicinity, having resided at this place for many years. His sister, Mrs. Josephine Overturff resides here, survives, as also four sons, and one daughter, Mrs. P.M. Webster of Douds. Interment took place in the cemetery near the church.
