WILLIAM BRADY KILLED IN TRUCK ACCIDENT ON NO. 1

FEW DETAILS AVAILABLE AS TO CAUSE OF ACCIDENT LATE WEDNESDAY

William Brady, son of John Brady of Bonaparte, was killed instantly about 6:15 Wednesday evening by a fall from a Wahrer truck on highway number one near the Watkins farm south of Keosauqua.

Leslie McVeigh and Harl Boyd, driving back of the Wahrer truck in a pickup, saw him fall. It was evident that he was killed instantly.

Sheriff Bostock was called for an investigation of the accident. The body was taken to the Page funeral home at Farmington.

The driver of the merchandise truck was Mr. Derr of Charleston. He did not know that he had a passenger and did not know of the accident until he was brought back to the scene of same to give his evidence as to the cause of the death.

The victim of the unfortunate accident is survived by his father, John Brady, and two sisters, Mrs. Irwin Muntz of Bonaparte and Miss Betty Brady of Des Moines.
