BURTON EARL KERR OF CANTRIL DIES
Burton Earl Kerr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Kerr of Upton, south of Cantril, died at an Ottumwa hospital about 5:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. He had been in the hospital several weeks following an operation for ruptured appendix.
The boy, 13 years old, is survived by his parents, two brothers, Stanley and Carl Edward.
Funeral services will be conducted at Upton today.

Keith Gaston sang a solo, -- "Trees."
The Rev. Orf led the audience in a dedication of the marker, closed with prayer by the Rev. H. C. Irvine.
The men's Centennial Chorus, a bearded group, sang.
The Rev. S. P. Williamson, Fairfield Presbyterian pastor, delivered the address of the day.
There was a hymn by the congregation and the Rev. Benjamin Hollis of the Christian church pronounced the benediction.
